Indulge in the rich, fudgy decadence of Hot Fudge Brownie Bread, the ultimate hybrid of brownies and quick bread! This gooey chocolate treat is packed with deep cocoa flavor, melty chocolate chips, and a luscious hot fudge swirl. Perfect as a dessert, snack, or an indulgent breakfast, this brownie bread is easy to make and impossible to resist!

Ingredients

Scale

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup whole milk

Add-ins

  • 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips

  • 1/2 cup hot fudge sauce, slightly warmed

Instructions

  1. Preheat & Prep – Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

  2. Mix Dry Ingredients – In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

  3. Mix Wet Ingredients – In a separate large bowl, whisk the eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth.

  4. Combine – Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Avoid overmixing.

  5. Fold in Chocolate Chips – Gently fold in the semisweet chocolate chips, ensuring even distribution.

  6. Layer & Swirl – Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Drizzle half of the hot fudge sauce over the batter. Add the remaining batter and top with the remaining hot fudge. Swirl with a knife for a marbled effect.

  7. Bake – Bake for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

  8. Cool & Serve – Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Slice and enjoy warm or at room temperature.

Notes

For an extra gooey texture, slightly underbake the bread and let it cool completely before slicing.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to a week.

Warm slices in the microwave for 10-15 seconds to revive the fudgy texture
