Description

These Boozy Jello Candy Melts are the perfect adult party treat! They’re sweet, colorful, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious, made with Jello, unflavored gelatin, and your favorite alcohol. Easy to customize and perfect for any celebration, these boozy candy melts are guaranteed to be a hit!

Ingredients

Scale

Candy Mixture

  • 1 box (3 oz) flavored Jello (any flavor)
  • 1 packet (0.25 oz) unflavored gelatin
  • ½ cup vodka (or any preferred liquor)
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tbsp corn syrup

Optional Coating

  • ½ cup granulated sugar (for coating)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Gelatin Mixture
In a small saucepan, combine the flavored Jello and unflavored gelatin. Add the water and stir until mixed. Let it sit for 5 minutes to allow the gelatin to bloom.

  • Heat and Dissolve
Place the saucepan over low heat and stir constantly until the gelatin is fully dissolved (about 2-3 minutes). Avoid boiling the mixture.

  • Add Alcohol and Corn Syrup
Remove from heat and let it cool slightly for 1-2 minutes. Stir in the vodka (or chosen liquor) and corn syrup, mixing well to incorporate.

  • Mold the Candy
Lightly grease silicone molds or candy molds. Pour the mixture into the molds, filling them evenly. Let them sit at room temperature for 10 minutes, then transfer them to the refrigerator for about 1-2 hours to fully set.

  • Unmold and Coat (Optional)
Once set, carefully remove the jello candies from the molds. If desired, roll them in granulated sugar to give them a sweet outer coating.

  • Serve and Enjoy
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Serve chilled for the best texture.

Notes

  • Use different Jello flavors to create a variety of colors and tastes.
  • For a stronger kick, reduce the water and increase the alcohol slightly, but keep a balanced ratio to ensure proper setting.
  • If the candy is too sticky, allow it to air dry for a few hours before coating with sugar.
  • Store in the fridge for a firmer texture or at room temperature for a softer chew.
